20 years ago, we melted LUDO Camping after several years of preparation: we seek the ideal place a long time and we find the Valley of Auzon, bathing under a southernmost sun. The fertile ground, the broad banks needed to be awaked in this summer of the year 1990. We tightened our hands to them and carried out a connection between ground and source, ground and brook. Consequently, are born flowers and plane trees, trees and shrubs, bushes, hedges and edges forming passages and ways. Thus was born LUDO Camping.

When the stories of heart become legend

We celebrated the 19 years of LUDO Camping on last May. It was an imposing festival and crépitante. We were moved to re-examine so much old LUDOcampeurs and among them of the pioneers, and we once again thank for the bottom of the c?ur all these faithful, all these couples of golden age which walked some of the way a bit of a walk with us, at our beginnings when LUDO was only one very small camp-site, with small trees, small flowers and a very large sun.

Thank you to have given us your confidence.

Still today, by heats nights of summer, the old nostalgic ones tell our hesitant beginnings and the stories go good train, accompanied by some fresh beers to the LUDO-Bar. These stories, told late the evening, become increasingly beautiful year by year, and one cannot, alas, always believe them, so much they took color. Certain former and faithful campers add times of them: it is said that it is "Latin of the camper", the Mediterranean influence, undoubtedly! or then, will know that LUDO wants to say in Latin "to play - to have fun".
To the wise, hello!

Check-up and prospects

They are our hosts of the years 90-91 which finally determined what became since this typical environment, that one generally calls "environment LUDO". It is human heat, sociability, while preserving perfectly the freedom of each individual: shared pleasure, yes, but personal peace too.
We are proud to have contributed during these 19 last years to the fact that hundreds of families, couples and single people passed from the holidays successful to LUDO Camping.
The camp-site is in constant evolution. We maintain the contacts privileged with the additional profession and professions. These multiple exchanges make it possible to approach our trade as well as possible, to work out new projects and to develop the ideas which are ours as regards hotel trade of full air.
Thanks to these relations, LUDO Camping not only benefitted from a broad radiation in France and abroad, but it also established an unquestionable notoriety which was worth us many articles in the specialized pages of big national dailies (foreign), like several emissions of radio.
It seems important to us to make evolve/move the tendencies as regards tourism: the statistics show as a whole that countries such as Holland, Germany and Belgium, carry an interest larger than French themselves to our southernmost Ardeche.
At the hour when we proclaim ourselves all Europeans, it is high time that the population of our camp-sites in Ardeche is representative of the population of whole Europe. We thus hope, close to all the countries, to see you in great number with the FESTIVAL OF SPRING of LUDO Camping on 15 May next (night offered gracefully) or to celebrate the summer ardéchois with one or the other of our multiple festivals and evenings with the LUDO Camping.
And then, all together, on the way towards the third LUDO GLOSSES (21 years, soon) in the year 2011.
